'back to you' custom silk organza top

The 'back to you' silk organza top is a piece that explores the connection between the body and how it can or may hold memory of past experiences. The top utilises gathering and design lines to create a wearable, sculptural piece.

An additional design feature is the lino-print that was developed through Bridget’s honours project ‘fibre processing’ 2024. This print was inspired by artist Chiharu Shiota’s red thread installations and their processing and connection to past memory.

The 'back to you' top is constructed from 100% silk organza which is a sheer material. Hence the construction through the technique of French seams and rolled hems. The neckline is bias bound, following through to a tie at the back of the neck.

Made to Order from a Size 6-22.

Bridget can accommodate any changes that are requested such as shortening/lengthening of the sleeves and bodice hem.

Spot Cleaning is highly recommended to keep the lino-print in it's original condition. If the full garment needs to laundered, a Gentle Handwash in Cold Water with Delicate Detergent is advised. Lay Flat to Dry in Shade. Do not Tumble Dry. Do not Machine Wash.
